The Reset Seeker

What To Do When You’re In Between Chapters

Not every chapter in our story will be a page-turner. We all know that moment of pause when reading a book, where you think, “Do I keep going, or do I take a break?” It usually doesn't happen when things are exciting or when we’re on the brink of a mind-twisting climax; it happens when things are dull and muddy, or maybe you need a second to process that plot twist.

In our own lives, these moments keep showing up. Not in the job promotions or the whirlwind romances. It’s in your routine on a Wednesday, when you're dragging yourself to work. In late-night self-reflections, when your brain whispers, “Is this it?” On Sunday mornings, when you realize you’re going to do it all over again.

These are the moments that make us pause and dream… and your brain whispers,

 “Should I run away?”

We know this moment well. We felt it as kids. We get in trouble, or our feelings get hurt. We pack our bags and imagine the faces of our family when they realize we’re gone. But we never made it out of the driveway.

Running away often carries a negative connotation. It's like sending the message that you’re leaving all your problems behind, giving up, or turning a blind eye to your responsibilities. But there is such a thing as running away, the right way. And sometimes it’s the bravest thing you can do for your health, your mind, and your heart.

This is your turning point.

To get away from those old thoughts, patterns, and stupid ex-boyfriends. You need to escape, you…  for a little bit, so you can come back, turn the page, and start your next chapter.

Changing up our environment is pivotal for our health when we are stuck in a hamster wheel of unwanted thoughts and habits. Our thoughts and actions are wired to cues we don’t even notice anymore: the corner coffee shop, the walk to work, the familiar streets that trigger the same cycles of thought. To break the loop, you don’t just need to think differently; you need to place yourself somewhere new and become someone new.

Travel is the great disruptor. It pulls you out of autopilot and shakes you awake.

How to Select Your Reset Destination

Everyone’s reset will look different. There can't be a one-size-fits-all.

Maybe you want to be alone in a cabin or in the middle of a bustling city.

Sit down and write five places that immediately spark your interest. They don’t have to be far. It could be the town an hour away you've been wanting to see, or it could be a country that's always been calling your name.

Ask yourself, do you need grounding, inspiration, or transformation?

Astrocartography Insight

There are three types of lines to explore:

Spiritual Lines

The soul’s mission, where transformation and awakening happen. These locations can feel magnetic, emotional, and deeply healing. They show up as clusters on your map and are the places we feel called to go.

Positive lines

Venus and Jupiter lines are characterized by a positive flow of creativity, confidence, and ease.

Challenging lines

Saturn and Mars are the malifics, where responsibility, discipline, and courage are learned through experience.

These are broad planetary themes. To understand how they personally activate for you, and which locations hold your unique growth or ease, we’d look directly at your natal chart and its aspects.
